The story of Soltech Patio Covers began with our founder, Andrew Merrick, and his passion for precision sheet metal fabrication and exterior home enhancements.

Andrew’s journey as an entrepreneur began in 2004 when he founded Aquatech Rain Gutters. Mastery of aluminum and copper gutter fabrication soon opened doors to other forms of precision metalwork.

With a trusted team of skilled installers and project managers behind him, Andrew launched Soltech in 2011. In doing so, he expanded his home exterior solutions to include premium patio covers and pergolas.
